Connecting the Concepts: Mastering Bite Splint Therapy
Led by Drs. Roger Solow, Jay Anderson, Glenn Kidder, and Buzz Raymond
The basis for comprehensive care is thorough diagnosis including occlusal analysis. Many patients have significant occlusal problems that have not been diagnosed or treated. Dentists are challenged to understand an increasing number of bite splint designs, theories, and treatment philosophies. This course will orient you to the scientific basis for bite splint treatment, design, and integration into daily practice. You will understand how to perform more predictable and durable restorative work and treat patients that have not had their problems addressed.
Moreover, this in depth, hands-on course is an expression of the Pankey philosophy, building on the experience of E2 (C2), giving you a personal experience with bite splint therapy that will allow you to provide a higher level of patient care as you will wear several designs of occlusal bite splints at night.
In addition, this course provides a foundation to grow a restorative dental practice based on relationships and comprehensive care. This aspect of patient-centered care is designed to help you and your team to invest time to examine, document, and optimize the occlusion so to set up predictable equilibration and restoration.
