Utilizing Invisalign® to Enhance Restorative Outcomes 1

This is a highly interactive course in which you will learn how to achieve successful patient outcomes with Invisalign patients. If you are not Invisalign trained, you will receive the training required to offer Invisalign.

We’ll help you:

• Learn how to use Invisalign as a treatment modality that is consistent with the Pankey philosophy.
• Use your understanding of occlusion in combination with what you learn during this course to offer a comprehensive approach to patient selection, treatment planning and treatment management.

We’ll also:

• Emphasize case studies and discuss treatment sequencing in detail, including when to do splint therapy, equilibration and restorative dentistry.
• Discuss the key elements of tooth movement, arch alignment and coordination

You are encouraged to bring patient records for discussion and review with the group.

You will have the opportunity to participate in a virtual study club to help you implement your learning. The virtual sessions will occur at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after the course.

Your instructors will be Dr. Brian Gray, Dr. Nancy Ward, and Dr. Edward Zebovitz. Dr. Brian Gray is on the visiting faculties of The Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy and seven universities. Dr. Gray has trained over 7,000 general practitioners in the Invisalign process and helped develop treatment plans for over 3,000 cases. Dr. Nancy Ward is on the visiting faculty of The Pankey Institute and Dean’s Faculty of the University of Maryland. Dr. Ward has provided orthodontic treatment for her patients for 28 years and is a premier provider for Invisalign. Dr. Edward Zebovitz, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, will do a segment on growth and development.

Tuition: $1,995 ($1,695 for Pankey trained dentists, courtesy of Invisalign tuition grant)

Lodging in the Pankey Lodge Condos is subject to availability. For this course double occupancy is $100 per occupant per night. Single occupancy is $175 per occupant per night (if available). Check in at the Pankey Lodge is after 2:00 PM on Thursday. If you arrive early, you may place your luggage in the Faculty Condo. Check out is by 11:00 AM on Sunday.
