Restoring the Occlusally Challenged Patient
Led by Drs. Lee Ann Brady and Mark Kleive
Patients with a diagnosis of TMD present with a combination of joint, muscle, and occlusal issues. Through a comprehensive exam, diagnosis, and appliance therapy we can understand their unique situation and achieve stability.
The next phase for many of these patients is to create stability on the tops of their teeth and address their restorative needs. This course will look at how we customize the patient’s occlusal scheme and final appliance therapy to manage joint loading, muscle engagement, and occlusal wear for long-term patient comfort and stability.
