Dr. Basile is a 1979 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. He has been in private practice in McHenry County for over 28 years, and had taught restorative dentistry at Loyola University in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Basile is dedicated to professional education: his memberships include the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the McHenry County Dental Society, where he had served on its Board of Directors. In 1997, he earned his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization dedicated to advanced education and training for general dentists. Fellowship inductees must fulfill 500 hours of continuing education and pass a comprehensive examination. He is a member of the American Equilibration Society, the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and president of the Excellence Dental Study club. He is an alumnus of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the L.D. Pankey Institute where he has participated in over 400 hours of post doctoral training.
