5.1 How do I get to the Institute?

You will fly into Miami International Airport on the airline of your choice. We are not currently affiliated with any travel agency or airline that might provide special rates.

At the airport, you have a choice of ground transport to Key Biscayne. A taxi cab ride will take approximately 30 minutes at a cost of about $45. The Super Shuttle service will take you up to an hour but is about half the cost and available just outside the baggage claim area.

The Institute is within walking distance of lodging, restaurants, and all other shopping. If you plan to sightsee before or after your course, taxis are readily available.

If, however, a leisurely tour of Greater Miami is in your plans, renting a car may be advantageous.

5.2 Do you offer accommodations?

Yes. The Pankey Lodge is a group of beautifully appointed suites in the exclusive Botanica section of the Key Colony Condominiums, a short two blocks from our teaching facility.

The Pankey Lodge provides a comfortable, casual setting and operates like a lodge as opposed to a typical hotel.

Guests at The Pankey Lodge have access to numerous amenities such as an 800-foot stretch of oceanfront, competition-size swimming pool, 12 all-weather tennis courts, walking trails, exercise facilities, and 24-hour security and gate attendants.

5.3 Do I have to stay at the Pankey Lodge?

We highly recommend that students stay at The Pankey Lodge. Lifetime friendships and professional associations emerge from the shared living experience.

Visiting faculty stay at The Pankey Lodge throughout the week, so you are in contact at all times with your course facilitators.

However, should you decide to stay elsewhere, there is one hotel on Key Biscayne within walking distance of the Institute: The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne.
