Advanced Dental Team

This course is designed for your clinical and office staff to study together and learn as a team. We will help them see a long-term vision for your practice that embraces comprehensive care and values the patient relationship. There will be separate workshops for clinical and administrative team members as follows:

Your dental assistants will have hands-on training to achieve excellence! Workshops will focus on:

• How to make and finish exquisite provisionals (both bis-acryl and acrylic).
• How to make practical and effective occlusal bite splints.
• How to help the doctor make records, such as facebow registrations, centric records, and protrusive bite records.
• The Pankey Institute’s practice philosophy so you can better differentiate your practice from the average!
• How and when to utilize intra-oral photography for better patient communication for case acceptance and to create improved lab communication and effectiveness.

Your administrative assistants and hygienists will have hands-on training to get results! Workshops will focus on:

• The Pankey Institute's practice philosophy so the administrative assistant can better differentiate your practice from the average!
• How to control the work matrix (schedule).
• How to manage fee and time estimating of complex cases.
• Understanding what makes a fair fee.
• How and why to convert a recall appointment into a comprehensive exam.
  
• How to flourish in this economy.

28 Lecture & Participation Credits

Tuition: $1,500 for the first team member and $700 for each additional team member

Lodging in the Pankey Lodge condos limited to availability – double occupancy $100 per night, single occupancy $175 per night.
