About Me:

An East Brainerd native and graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental College, Dr. Gary White is committed to continuing education. Since graduating dental school, he has spent countless hours keeping up with current dental treatments, modalities and the best in dental materials. It is what he believes his patients deserve.

As part of his training, he has gained membership with the Academy of Operative Dentistry, the Pankey Dental Institute and is a graduate of Dawson’s “Concept of Complete Dentistry.” He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, the Chatt Area Dental Association and the Tennessee Valley Study Group.

His commitment to dental excellence began early. Believe it or not, Dr. White started at this practice as a patient when he was just three-years-old and has been here ever since. During college, he worked at Mynatt Dental Lab here in Chattanooga every summer.

Says Dr. White ~

I love my work because I really love working with my hands. But what I love most of all is working with people striving for better appearance and health. My primary focus is on working with patients, educating them and increasing their dental knowledge. I really think that the best dental treatment is worthless if my patient doesn’t understand how to care for it.
In his free time Dr. White is a custom furniture builder working with his favorite woods, Mahogany and Cypress. He also enjoys motorcycle touring and rides a ’08 Goldwing.

Dr. White has been married to his best friend, Melissa Patrick White of Chattanooga, since 1983. They have two daughters, Jessica White-Hicks and Rebecca White-Lewis. Both daughters live in Chattanooga.

About My Practice or Lab:

Dr. White practices dentistry at the same office in which he was a patient since childhood, near the street he grew up on. What does that mean for you? When you become part of this practice you are more than a patient – you become a friend and part of the family.

Because we care about our patients, we treat you with compassion and respect – no matter what shape your mouth is in. We spend a lot of time educating and interacting so you can make informed decisions about your treatment and develop a plan to get healthy and stay that way.

What is Comprehensive Dentistry?

Our goal is not simply to address symptoms and repair your teeth but to address the cause. By taking care of the underlying condition, we can restore your mouth to a stable and balanced position and provide predictable and lasting results.
