After relocating from Winston-Salem in 1996, Dr. Murphy considers Salisbury his adopted home. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Murphy graduated from The Ohio State University. Post graduation, he completed a one year hospital surgical residency at The Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Murphy relocated to North Carolina and joined the practice of Winston-Salem Dental Care where he practiced until 1996. Since graduating dental school his quest for educational advancement continued. Some of his achievements include: Fellowship and Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry, Associate Fellowship from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and he is also an alumni of The Pankey Institute. It is due to Dr. Murphy's drive to advance in the dental profession that enables him to further his pledge to offer patients the best possible care for a lifetime of health.
