Dr. Matthew I. Miller
Dr. Matthew Miller's father, Dr. Kenneth Miller, opened the doors to his dental practice in 1958 in the town of Cumberland. Almost 30 years later, his son, Dr. Matthew Miller, joined the practice. The two served the community together for over 20 years before Dr. Ken passed the torch on to Dr. Matt. The partnership led to the practice becoming incorporated as Miller Dental, PC. Miller Dental PC was formed and grew as a family business and continues to do so with Dr. Matt at the helm, his sister as one of his hygienist and occasionally, his father will still be seen in the office to assist where needed.
Dr. Matt has many other professional accomplishments outside being a small business owner and dentist. In 2006, Dr. Matt was appointed by the governor to the Indiana State Board of Dentistry, where he served nine years including two terms as President. Dr. Matt continues to be involved in local and state issues and has been awarded the honorary Sagamore of the Wabash award by the governor. He now continue to serve in prestige positions with organizations such as ADEX (American Board of Dental Examiners), CDCA (The Commission on Dental Competency Assessments), and the Attorney General’s office as a compliance officer.
