Dr. Richard Vermillion has a dental degree from the University of Maryland and has been a practicing dentist in Summit Hill since 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
He serves as adjunct faculty at Temple University School of Dentistry teaching third and fourth year dental students one day a week. He is a Pankey Institute Alumni, member of several Pankey Institute affiliated learning groups focusing on comprehensive care, occlusion, Invisalign and restorative dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and serves on the Access to Care Committee for the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Locally, he been involved in his children's activities having served in leadership positions for the Summit Hill Cub Scouts and Nesquehoning Boy Scouts. He helped coached many years of little league baseball and CYO basketball.
He is married to Jennifer Vermilion and resides in Summit Hill with their two sons Ethan and Maxwell.
