Dr. Robin F. Gallagher
Robin F. Gallagher, D.M.D., M.A.E.S. grew up in the house that Chestnut Hill Dental has provided care in for over 50 years. He is the son of the late Dr. Robert F. Gallagher who started the practice. He often tells stories of climbing the trees with his brother and sister in the front yard of the building.
Dr. Robin has been a practicing dentist for over 30 years. He attended La Salle College High School and then graduated from La Salle University. He then went on to work for Combustion Engineering in Miami, FL for 3 years in the ceramic manufacturing industry. After having dreams of helping people in a white lab coat, he decided to go to dental school. In 1980, Dr. Robin graduated from University of Pennsylvania Dental School and was credited by the Pennsylvania Board of Dentistry the same year. Dr. Robin began studying with the Pankey Institue of Dentistry in 1982 and has remained a Triple Plus Member, sharing the same views and values of the Institution. In 2004, Dr. Robin completed Pankey’s Head and Neck Dissection. In 2004, Dr. Robin completed Pankey’s Sleep Disorder and Breathing Program. And in 2006, Dr. Robin completed Pankey’s Ethical and Comprehensive Dental Care Program. Dr. Robin became a Fellow of the American Endodontic Society in 2000 and a Master in 2002.
He is philanthropic to many community organizations and service projects around the world, including donating hundreds of toothbrushes to a school in Africa. Dr. Robin maintains important relationships with many oral and medical specialists in the area, ensuring his patients receive the upmost overall comprehensive care. In his spare time, Dr. Robin is an avid fisherman and golfer. He can often be found in Avalon, NJ doing both these activities. He is a father to three and a grandfather to six- with another on the way!
