Our four day program will feature 4 phenomenal clinicians and educators presenting four incredible topics. In classic Pankey style the experience, education and community will make this a program not to be missed. Master’s Week has a special place in the hearts and minds of many Pankey Alumni. Meet The Presenters

Abdi Sameni, DDSEsthetic & Prosthetic Dentistry

Dr. Abdi Sameni is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dentistry and a 1991 graduate of Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. He has been a member of the USC clinical faculty since 1998. He is a former faculty for the “esthetic selective” which emphasizes a “biomimetic approach” to restorative and esthetic care. He was the original director of the USC Advanced Esthetic Dentistry Continuum for the portion relating to indirect porcelain veneers. He is the former chairman and developer of the “USC International Restorative Dentistry Symposium” for the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. In 2019 He founded the Los Angeles Dental Symposium.

Dr. Sameni lectures nationally and internationally on topics related to interdisciplinary dentistry, digital photography and its applications for dentistry, and various aspects of biomimetic and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Sameni is Past-President of the USC Dental Alumni Association, past-president of the USC Century Club, Former member if the Board of Directors of the Pan pacific Center for Continuing Oral Health Professional Education of USC CE and a member of the Board of Counselors for the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Sameni served for 6 years on the Board of Governors for the USC Alumni Association and he is a former co-chair of the Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC Scholarship Selection Committee. Dr. Sameni is a member of numerous professional organizations and societies, which include The American College of Dentists, The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, OKU National Dental Honor Society and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He maintains a private practice in West Los Angeles, California

Mehrdad Razaghy, DDSEsthetic & Prosthetic Dentistry

Dr. Razaghy’s extensive background in research began in 2014 when he spent a full year focusing on multiple projects in the field of neurosurgery. He was part of six major publications at David Geffen School of Medicine of UCLA with a focus on spinal cord diagnostics and motor dexterity. His passion for creation and research carried through his path in dentistry and allowed him to be involved in various research projects. His journey in dental research began by joining Dr. Pascal Magne’s research laboratory at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Since then, alongside teaching, he has been part of multiple research and clinical projects under close mentorship of Dr. Pascal Magne. Together with his mentor, Dr. Razaghy has contributed to various books, journals, publications, adn educational modules in the world of restorative and biomimetic dentistry.

Dr. Razaghy has been part of publications in the esteemed Journal of Dental Materials and International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry and currently practices general and restorative dentistry in Los Angeles, besides mentorship of a few selected students. He is an active lecturer in the U.S. and currently teaches multiple continuing education modules in the fields of dental photography, additive dentistry, digital smile design, rubber dam isolation, and bonded porcelain ceramic restorations.

Sam Alawie, MDTEsthetic & Prosthetic Dentistry

Sam Alawie completed his Master Dental Technician degree in Brussels, Belgium in 1994. He migrated to the United States in 2003 and opened his own full service dental laboratory in Beverly Hills, CA. Sam is well versed on the importance of technical clinical communications and their implementations for successful case planning and patient satisfaction. He is a keen and avid supporter and member of many study groups. He instructed various hands-on crown and bridge courses and hosted presentations throughout Europe and the United states. 

In 2012, Sam opened a state-of-the-art educational facility, oral design Beverly Hills which offers a spacious venue where dental professionals and students can come together to advance their knowledge, practice their craft, and exchange ideas; offering a wide range of training programs, study groups, and continuing education courses, including advanced classes with world renowned dental specialists. 

 In 2020 Mr. Willi Geller of the Oral Design Foundation in Switzerland invited Sam to be an active member of the Oral Design Family. 

Glenn Dupont, DDSFull Mouth Reconstruction

After attending the University of South Florida on a full basketball scholarship, Dr. DuPont entered Emory University’s College of Dentistry. He graduated in 1979 and that same year joined the prestigious practice of Drs. Peter E. Dawson and Pete Roach in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Since then, Dr. DuPont has spent his career solving serious and extensive esthetic and functional dental problems for a growing number of grateful patients. 

Dr. DuPont started out in 1979 assisting in the practice lab. His natural talent for sculpting was quickly recognized by Dr. Peter Dawson – a world-renowned educator and innovator in restorative dentistry. Dr. Dawson invited Dr. DuPont to work side-by-side with him and to see both his approach to patients, and his overall philosophy of finding conservative solutions to help patients save their teeth for a lifetime. 

Dr. Lee Ann Brady – Topic to be Chosen By the Group

Dr. Lee Ann Brady joined The Pankey Institute as their first female resident faculty member and was quickly promoted to Clinical Director. Dr. Brady is a privately practicing dentist and nationally recognized educator, lecturer and author. With an extensive history in leadership, she is currently Director of Education of the Pankey Institute. Dr. Brady has also developed a vast library of online instruction at leeannbrady.com and restorativenation.com. She practices in Glendale Arizona, is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Inside Dentistry and Dentaltown Magazine.

The Pankey Institute is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The Pankey Institute designates this activity for 27 continuing education credits.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: Most courses require a non-refundable deposit. Requests to cancel must be made in writing.
For courses under $500, payment is due in full at the time of registration. Cancellations received prior to 90 days before the start of the course will be honored minus a $50 administrative fee which is non-refundable.
Courses over $500 require a non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. The tuition balance is due 90 days prior to the start date of the course. Requests received prior to 90 days before the start of the course will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit and 50% of the course tuition, however, the remaining tuition may be transferred to another course date.
No refunds or transfers will be issued for cancellations received within 90 days of the start of the course. Please allow 3 weeks for processing of refunds. Pankey reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course or scheduled faculty with advance notice to registrant. In no event shall Pankey be liable for any cancellation or change penalties assessed by the airlines, hotels, or other travel related expenses as a result of course date changes or course cancellations including changes related to weather, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.
